BACK TO THE BLOG!

hi girls, boys, cheeky monkeys! How was your summer? I have been busy with exams ever since 1st September (as you know) and today I decided it was high time I posted something on the blog. Here are some pics I took in Edinburgh in August, while doing a course for teachers. You can see the Grassmarket area (the coloured houses), The Castle, Buildings along the Royal Mile (the pic taken against the light) ,The Old City (from a bridge that joins it to the new city)..and your teacher getting her certificate at the university ;-).Well, I will be off again for a few days , this time further North :-). I will post pics from that place too as soon as I am back ...see some of you next week and the rest in October.....take care!

hello guys, did you know that there is more to a monkey than a "cheeky monkey"? Well, I have a new task for you (film reviews in the post below are still welcome, though :-))
Here's a list of expressions containing the word "monkey". Choose one (only one, to give other people the chance to do their own research) and explain its meaning:

WRITE A FILM REVIEW

Hello boys and girls, a new post for you (both those who are through with the course and those who are still having exams).
I thought it would be interesting if you wrote a short review of a recent film (perhaps new releases) that you have seen (and discuss it with other mates who have also seen it)....here's an outline of how your review should be written:
1) brief summary (2 lines)
2) state your opinion of the movie (strengths and weaknesses)
3)What characters did you most identify with?(why?)
4) So, do you recommend it or not?

well then...who's going to kick off..? ;-)

THIRD CONDITIONAL CHALLENGE INTERMEDIATE TWO

Hello babies,
how about practising your third conditional skills before the exam? I will give you a situation (the consequence of something) and you will have to guess what happened, using a third conditional sentence, (if........., x....wouldn't have...) ok? Only one. the funnier, the better:

"the table was upside down when I came back home"
